The email will have your log-in email for your Secondary application with Canada Israel Experience, where you will be able to upload your picture, upload your passport, request to travel with a friend, and more.
A valid passport is one that expires a minimum of 6 months after your return date (for example, if you return from Israel on January 3, 2018, your passport must expire no earlier than July 3, 2018). This is non-negotiable and is an airline policy, not a Canada Israel Experience policy. Please ensure that your passport is in good condition. Worn or torn pages can result in any airline refusing to accept a passport for travel.
WILL I NEED TO MEET WITH SOMEONE?
Yes, we want to get to know you. Once you complete your primary application and pay your $250 refundable deposit, you will be contacted for a mandatory Meet and Greet in your local community. Once the Meet and Greet is done, we will schedule your mandatory one-on-one conversation which will take place via phone with a CIE call centre agent. Every Birthright Israel: Canada Israel Experience applicant must successfully complete a one-on-one conversation in order to be considered for a trip.
