In only ten action-packed days, we traveled through 3000 years of Jewish History learning about David, Solomon, Herzl, and the Holocaust. This trip to Israel was an experience I will never forget and let me tell you, ten days wasn’t nearly enough.

“I don’t even know where to begin. If I could describe this trip, I would say it was life changing. From the amazing staff and tour guide, to the people on the trip, it was absolutely incredible. I went on the trip not knowing a single person, and I wouldn’t have done it any other way. I left with 52 new family members.”

Our wonderful Madrichim were caring and supportive and were as excited to be there as we were. It was important to me that they were open to discussion about the politics and loyalties and contradictions thrown at us – for those things are hard to handle on your own. Our tour guide brought so much joy and knowledge to our days. Our driver was always joking and smiling with us, our medic and guard were our friends. I cannot imagine having better staff.

My Birthright Israel experience was beyond my expectations. What I experienced on my trip will be with me forever and hopefully the friendships I created. The staff and our tour educator were the key factors in making this experience so memorable for me. Getting to explore Israel and see its beauty and being lead by these amazing people helped surpass my expectations for the trip. From the history, the beauty, the amazing sights and the friendships I created I will never forget my Taglit experience.

We returned to our home countries with renewed pride and new friends. Friends from Russia, friends from Canada, and friends from Israel. But most importantly we formed a friendship with an incredible country.
